We go to Chinatown in Japan - only here you will see a combination of Chinese lanterns with an abundance of wires. Our task is to convey the feeling of the place, avoiding transferring all the details that we see in the reference photo.

A world-famous watercolor artist and graphic designer from Portugal. André has his own illustration and graphic design studio in Lisbon. Awarded by the International Watercolor Society – India (Honorable Mention) 1st Olympiart Festival December 2019


Giovanni Balzarani (Italy)

Professional watercolor artist from Italy. Giovanni graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He has participated in various international exhibitions and contests: in Hong Kong, Budapest, Karachi, Montemor-o-Novo, London, Bratislava, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Thessaloniki, Moscow, Indonesia, Cagliari and Sperlonga. He was chosen as one of the 5 Italian Leaders of FabrianoinAcquarello. From 2017 he was appointed Brand Ambassador for DANIEL SMITH.

Megha Kapoor (India)

A very talented watercolor artist from India and winner of many awards. Megha is the Vice president of Watercolor society of India (WSI). She is the Vice President of International Watercolour Society India(IWS-INDIA). She is also the editor of International Watercolor society Magazine.

To participate in the competition:
1. Purchase the course: Chinatown in Japan
2. Submit your completed watercolor using the submission form on the course page.

Submission deadline: April 19.
Results will be announced on April 22.
